About this role
Be the friendly voice on the phone for a close-knit U.S. customer base. You'll answer inbound calls, take orders, walk customers through payment over the phone, provide product information, and make every caller feel comfortable and well cared for. This is a people-first role where warmth, patience, and earning trust matter more than product knowledge — we train you on the products.
What you’ll do
- Answer inbound customer calls warmly and professionally.
- Take phone orders accurately and collect payment details securely.
- Provide product information and check order status for customers.
- Make hesitant or nervous customers feel comfortable and build their trust.
- Handle complaints and escalations calmly, protecting the customer relationship.
- Follow up by phone, chat, or email as needed.
What we’re looking for
- Prior customer service or phone support experience.
- Fluent, clear spoken English and a warm, personable phone manner.
- Comfort taking orders and payment details accurately over the phone.
- Willingness to work U.S. business hours.
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet environment for taking calls.
Nice to have
- Experience with a CRM or helpdesk tool (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Freshdesk).
- Experience with phone/telephony systems (RingCentral, Aircall, Dialpad, Five9).
- Comfort with basic website updates or product-pricing changes (Shopify, WooCommerce).
