About this role
Support U.S.-based fire sprinkler installation projects as a remote AutoCAD drafter. You'll turn provided plans, sketches, and CAD files into clean, installation-ready sprinkler layouts, cut sheets, and material takeoffs to NFPA standards.
What you’ll do
- Convert provided plans and sketches into detailed fire sprinkler layouts.
- Prepare material takeoffs — pipe IDs, lengths, fittings, and outlets.
- Produce cut sheets and installation documentation.
- Coordinate drafting revisions based on client feedback.
- Adapt drawings to client-specific drafting standards and cleaner styles.
What we’re looking for
- Strong AutoCAD drafting experience.
- Hands-on experience on U.S. fire sprinkler projects.
- Ability to prepare cut sheets / material takeoffs from provided plans.
- Familiarity with NFPA fire sprinkler standards.
- Ability to read sprinkler layouts, pipe sizing references, and head locations.
Nice to have
- Hydraulic calculation optimization experience.
- Experience with Hydracad.
- BIM coordination experience.
