About this role
Identify, analyze, and win U.S. government contract opportunities. You'll research federal solicitations, understand how agencies differ, and own the full proposal lifecycle — from sourcing on SAM.gov to compliant, on-time submission.
What you’ll do
- Research and identify relevant government contract opportunities.
- Analyze U.S. government spending and agency behavior.
- Compare agencies to understand differences in requirements and patterns.
- Review and validate opportunities from SAM.gov.
- Prepare and submit proposals (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs).
- Write clear, structured, compliant proposal responses.
- Organize capability statements, resumes, and past performance docs.
- Track deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience in government contracting and proposal writing.
- Strong ability to research and analyze U.S. government contracts/spending.
- Deep understanding of federal agencies and their differing requirements.
- Basic FAR understanding and strict compliance discipline.
- Experience with SAM.gov and government submission portals.
- Strong writing, high attention to detail, zero-mistakes mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and own deadlines proactively.
Nice to have
- Understanding of pricing structures.
- Experience with $50K–$300K contracts.
- GovCon firm or freelance proposal-writing background.
- Experience training or mentoring others.
