Senior Signage Production Designer (Large Format & ADA)

RemoteFull-TimeU.S. business hours

This is a production role, not a graphic design role. It requires 5+ years working inside a signage or large-format print company preparing fabrication-ready files — CNC routers, laser cutters, ADA/Braille, and large-format print. If your experience is mainly in social media, branding, web, or marketing design, this role will not be a fit and your application will not advance.

Senior signage production for large-format print and ADA fabrication. You prepare fabrication-ready files inside a signage or large-format print company — CNC routers, laser cutters, ADA/Braille, and large-format print — and hand clean spec packages to the production team. 5+ years of hands-on signage production-file experience required (not marketing, branding, web, or social-media design). U.S. business hours.

About this role

You will prepare fabrication-ready production files inside a signage or large-format print company — taking approved designs through to CNC router and laser-cutter files, ADA/Braille signage, acrylic cutouts, cut vinyl, channel letters, and large-format print. You will build the specification packages the production team relies on (dimensions, materials, finishes, mounting and installation details) and keep files clean, correctly sized, and material-ready. This is a senior production role, not a graphic-design role. Remote, full-time, U.S. business hours.

What you’ll do

  • Take approved designs to fabrication-ready files for CNC routers and laser cutters — file setup, vector cleanup, cut paths and layers, and material-correct sizing.
  • Prepare ADA-compliant signage files (Grade 2 Braille, raised lettering) to spec.
  • Produce large-format print files (murals, banners, wallpaper), acrylic cutouts, cut vinyl, and channel-letter / dimensional signage files.
  • Build specification packages — dimensions, materials, finishes, and mounting / installation details — the production team can run from.
  • Vectorize and redraw logos for production.
  • Coordinate with the production team so files come out correctly on the machine.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years working inside a signage or large-format print company preparing fabrication-ready files (not marketing, branding, web, or social-media design).
  • Hands-on production-file experience for CNC routers, laser cutters, and large-format print.
  • Advanced proficiency in a primary vector tool (Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW).
  • Fluent written English and availability during U.S. business hours.

Nice to have

  • ADA-compliant signage file experience (Grade 2 Braille, raised lettering).
  • Experience with sign-specific software such as FlexiSign or SignLab.
  • Experience preparing files across many fabrication methods (acrylic, vinyl, channel letters, large-format print).
