About this role
Perform hands-on quantity takeoffs for framing and drywall scopes directly from construction plans — quantifying studs, track, drywall by type and number of layers, and shoe/bottom track across standard and rated wall assemblies. You'll read interior partition packages, calculate linear and square footage, apply waste factors, and produce clean, accurate takeoff reports. This is a remote, full-time role working U.S. business hours.
What you’ll do
- Quantify studs, track, drywall, and shoe/bottom track from construction plans.
- Read and interpret interior partition packages and wall-type schedules.
- Calculate linear and square footage and apply appropriate waste factors.
- Handle different wall assemblies (rated vs standard) accurately.
- Produce clean, production-ready takeoff reports.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on framing & drywall quantity takeoff experience (not general estimating).
- Able to read construction plans and quantify studs, track, and drywall.
- Strong understanding of stud size/gauge, spacing, and drywall layering.
- Accurate, detail-oriented quantity work under real plan ambiguity.
Nice to have
- On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, or STACK experience.
- Ceiling/soffit takeoffs.
- U.S. commercial interior construction experience.
